A space of super comfort for every runner

ROLE
Senior Designer

Supernova Rise 3 brings supercomfort to every run and every ability. The work reflects the feeling of slipping your foot into a running shoe built for comfort. Soft and tactile the space invites exploration and presents the benefits of the shoe in a physical form.

DEVELOPMENT
The first stage was an on-boarding session with TBWA (the ATL agency) the we got into exploration around furniture, lighting and textures that could deliver the supercomfort story. As the work was across the Adidas global estate the footprints for the spaces were predetermined.

DESIGN LANGUAGE
Soft tactile materials and lighting were used to create an atmosphere of comfort. Curved furniture made of malleable materials and foam table tops inspired by the shoe give a deep insight into the benefits of Supernova. Sunken screens and shoes add a playful tone to the design and subtle lighting combined with muted colourways provide an elevated calm design language.

SCALABLE DESIGN
Across the Adidas global estate store footprint vary drastically. To make sure we could show up across the stores we scaled the design making a modular system that could bee added to or taken away without losing the essence of the campaign.

COMMUNITY SPACE
Adidas have a strong connection with their fans, especially through AdiClub. To develop that connection we integrated a ‘Community Space’ into the design to showcase new running routes, places for selfies to be displayed, shared playlists and tips for the latest hot spots.
